Leadership Team
Karen and Lucie form the leadership team at Medivents.
Together, we combine strategic insight, creativity and hands-on industry experience with expertise in logistics, budgeting, supplier management, and audience engagement to deliver flawless events. We believe that our ability to anticipate challenges, adapt to trends, and implement innovative solutions through embracing cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices sets us apart in a highly competitive industry.
Karen Anthony
Managing Director
I’m Karen and with 25 years of experience in the events industry, I bring passion, expertise and unwavering dedication to every event.
I have always worked on the agency side, initially in London and then out of town where I met Lucie, a client with high expectations seeking expert event support for her healthcare meetings. Our collaboration was so successful that in 2005 following a short career break to have my son, Lucie convinced me to join her at Medivents and I’ve never looked back!
My role is to lead the team, ensuring the seamless planning and execution of every event we deliver and each one of the healthcare associations that we support. With a strategic focus on operational excellence, I oversee the team ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and results reinforcing our reputation for excellence in the industry.
Lucie Flint
Founder and Director
I’m Lucie and I’ve been passionate about healthcare events for over 25 years. Initially part of a start-up pharmaceutical company, as the business grew so did my love of the healthcare industry and the medical event programmes that I was lucky enough to lead.
In 2004 I grabbed the opportunity to start Medivents and what a 20+ years it’s been so far! I love working closely with our clients and helping them plan projects from initial concept onwards, creating events that connect people and accelerate innovation.
My role is to give strategic input and bring specialist knowledge and advice at key points in the event planning process. I also work closely with our pharmaceutical clients in the planning and delivery of their events.
